		<description>You can also bring back non-packaged plants provided you leave them with the Dept. of Agriculture for a day or two prior to your departure. There, they will fumigate it and tag it with a DOA seal which will allow you to bring it with you to the mainland. Some mainland states however have their own acceptance lists for plants and vegetables. For example: California will not allow the import of the Hawaiian White Ginger plant whereas the other states will. (go figure).</description>
