Thank you for showing such a great video for repotting my phals!! I live in SW FL and sphagnum moss is nasty stuff in this humidity. Do you ever repot a new orchid that is in bloom if it’s packed in sphag, or do you wait until the blooms are done on the spike?

Thanks for you kind comment. I have repotted phals both in bloom and in bud. The trick is to not disturb the roots too much. I think it is healthier for the plant than to leave it sitting in sphag. Good luck with yours! cheers, Bruce
