I found a soft mushy spot on one of the leaves, and immediately chopped it off. I researched it online and found out it was a bacterial infection. But within days, all of the flowers have wilted and now it looks like its gonna die. Should I just throw it away or will it come back from this? What should I do??

My orchid stopped blooming several months ago and all that is left are the leaves and the dried up stem. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to cut this stem off or will the plant bloom from the same stem again? The leaves look nice, green and healthy and have been growing. Now, I'm just wondering how to get the plant to bloom again.

I have some Dendrobium orchids, we heat with wood and they have a lot of dust on the leaves which is stubborn to clean off. I would like a home recipe (safe for orchids) that can be used safely which will not cause the plants or their leaves any harm.
